At Furniture Revolution we love restyling your furniture to give it a new lease of life and save it from that furniture graveyard called landfill. From dining sets, to desks, to bedroom furniture, we can paint just about anything! So, whether you are looking to change your colour scheme or create a feature piece we can help you.
Whatever your style, be it vintage, shabby chic, mid-century modern, country or modern we can create the image for you. If the piece is scratched or needs some TLC we are happy to make the necessary repairs to give your furniture a new lease of life.
How does it work?
It’s simple, just contact us and we will visit your home with our colour samples in hand, for a free no obligation consultation. You can view our prices to see how much your project is likely to cost, or you can email us pictures for an estimate.
As a small independent company, we do not use aggressive sales techniques and we will not hassle you into placing an order. If you are happy with our quote, we will agree a time to start the work. At this stage we will ask for a 25% deposit to secure the start date, but we will not ask for the balance until you are completely happy with the project.

What is the process?
Depending on the sizes and quantity of furniture we may do the painting at our workshop, or we can paint it on site. If we are painting in situ, you will be able to continue to use your rooms (with care) as the paint will quickly become touch dry.
We will lightly sand and chemically prepare the furniture in preparation for the first coat. Depending on which type of paint you choose it usually takes three coats to create a robust and professional finish. For our Furniture Revolution kitchen & furniture paint (recommended) it’s usually one coat of primer, plus two top coats.

What does it cost?
We know our prices are very competitive for our industry. For example, a 3-drawer chest would cost from £65 and a 2-door wardrobe from £85. This includes all the materials, of which we only use our tried and tested brands for a durable and long-lasting finish.
Once we have seen your furniture, our quotes are a fixed price for the work, so if it takes longer than we expected we do not charge any extra.

Transporting your furniture?
There are four different options;
- You can deliver to our workshop in Millbridge, Plymouth (£0)
- If you are local, your furniture can fit in an estate car, and can be carried by 1 person, then we can collect and redeliver for a small fee (from £5 per trip)
- You can use one of our recommended couriers who will collect and redeliver from within your premises (from £25 per trip)
- For bigger projects or fitted furniture we can work in situ at your premises
